State Funding to Support New and Improved Playgrounds Across Hudson Valley

Communities across Westchester and the Hudson Valley are set to receive state funding for new and improved playgrounds as part of New York’s continued investment in local recreational infrastructure.

The funding will support projects designed to expand and improve outdoor recreation opportunities for children and families, including playground construction and renovations in communities throughout the region.

The investments are part of a broader statewide effort to strengthen parks, playgrounds and other community recreational amenities. New York has allocated funding through initiatives including NY PLAYS, which supports municipalities seeking to build new playgrounds or renovate existing facilities.

For Hudson Valley communities, investments in parks and recreational spaces can play an important role in enhancing neighborhoods, improving quality of life and supporting broader community development efforts.
