It is with profound gratitude and a bold sense of responsibility that I step into the role of President of the Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS®. Today, we chart our course forward, with a compass guided by one unwavering truth: Every goal we set, every service we offer, every resource we develop… must tie directly to the success of every single member.

That’s our promise. That’s our platform. And that’s our power. Our 2026 theme, Tied to Success, is more than a motto. It’s a mindset. It's a commitment to ensuring that every touchpoint with HGAR strengthens our members’ businesses, broadens our opportunities, and deepens our impact in the communities we serve.

We’ll do that by focusing on three core priorities: Member Value, Advocacy, and Expansion & Growth. We’ll enhance New Member Orientation. Our brokers and managers will be true partners in this journey. We’ll diversify how we communicate. When members say, “I got my next deal through HGAR,” that’s not just value, it’s validation.

For Advocacy, we will educate every member about RPAC. We’ll empower our members with campaigns that turn peer inspiration into peer participation. We’ll develop rapid-response strategies so when housing policy is on the line, HGAR doesn’t just show up, we lead. We’ll build a formal political system to identify and support housing champions who align with our values and understand that REALTORS® don’t just shape neighborhoods, we shape futures.

We cannot grow HGAR by standing still. This year, we will build bridges; geographically, strategically, and technologically. We’ll launch a consumer awareness campaign and empower the public to choose REALTORS®. We’ll explore partnerships that align with our values and expand our footprint.

We are in a time of disruption: legal, market-driven, and technological. We won’t fear the change; we will lead it. From new communication to member-facing partnerships, from AI tools to enhanced video, we will harness technology not to replace REALTORS® but to reinforce them.
