Momentum Continued for Columbia County Real Estate Market in Q3 with Healthy Buyer Demand Across Communities and Price Points

RYE BROOK, NY) – The Columbia County real estate market continued its momentum during the third quarter with buyer demand remaining healthy across communities and price points. Well-positioned homes attracted strong interest and spent less time on the market, according to the Houlihan Lawrence Q3 2026 Columbia County Market Report released today.

According to the report, while inventory levels varied across the county, buyers remained engaged, particularly for homes that offer quality, location, and thoughtful presentation. Sellers who priced strategically and prepared their properties effectively continued to benefit from strong demand.

The report noted that as we move through the fall season, the fundamentals of the market remain healthy. The third quarter reinforced the importance of understanding local market dynamics and positioning each property to meet current buyer expectations.

“At Houlihan Lawrence, we remain committed to delivering the local expertise, market insight, and trusted guidance that have defined our leadership for generations. We are honored to help buyers and sellers navigate an evolving market with clarity and confidence through every stage of their real estate journey,” said Houlihan Lawrence President & CEO Liz Nunan.
