Mary Prenon • October 4, 2024

WHITE PLAINS—This year, the Annual Meeting of the Members of the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors, Inc. will take place virtually prior to the live Member Appreciation Day event. The Annual Meeting is set for Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 10 A.M. via a Zoom meeting audio-visual conference. The change has been designed to allow more time for activities at Members Day, set for Monday, October 28, at the Westchester Marriott Hotel in Tarrytown.

The virtual Annual Meeting on October 22 will also feature a presentation from James Dwiggins on the future of real estate, with tips and tools to navigate the industry, post settlement. Dwiggins is the Co-Founder and CEO of NextHome, Inc., a progressive real estate franchise with consumer-focused branding, technology and marketing.

This year’s in-person Member Appreciation Day event on October 28 will feature real estate industry leader Jared James, an entrepreneur and international speaker. James’s keynote address, “How to Win in the New Era of Real Estate,” will concentrate on industry changes over the past 12 months and how to successfully pivot and adjust to those changes. James was recently named as one of RIS Media 's most influential people in real estate and in the Swanepoel 200 list as one of the most powerful and influential people in the industry today.

Additional speakers will include Mitchell Skinner, Esq., Managing Member of Larson Skinner, LLC, who will provide detailed explanations of important real estate industry trends. Based in Minneapolis, Skinner also acts as corporate and intellectual property counsel for the Real Estate Standards Organization.

Productivity Coach Kristin Scanlon will discuss how to effectively navigate market challenges to keep ahead of the game. She’ll also share the pitfalls and successes of her own career journey, as well as her secrets for unique events and innovative Open Houses.

In addition, OneKey MLS, the Premier event sponsor, will offer workshops on all of its new and innovative products to help your business grow. Two CE classes will also be offered: Ethics and a Legal Update – both in the Westchester Ballroom.

Two lunch options will also be available—a Buffet Lunch held in the airy new Atrium—sponsored by Dolgetta Law PLLC and Robison—as well as a plated RPAC Luncheon held in the Tarrytown Ballroom, sponsored by 1st Priority Mortgage.

Members Day will once again feature a trade show with 50 Exhibitors including lenders, home inspectors, home service firms, insurance companies, tax consultants, oil tank and pest control services, photographers, videographers and much more. However, this year, all Exhibitors will be located in the same space, sharing half of the Grand Ballroom, so they will be much easier to locate.

The day will conclude with an Awards Ceremony and a Celebration Cocktail Party, sponsored by A.S.A.P Mortgage Corp. O’Donnell & Cullen Tax Consultants is serving as this year’s Platinum event sponsor.
