Groundbreaking Ceremony for Park Square Yonkers Residential Project Set for July 21

The groundbreaking ceremony for Park Square Yonkers will take place on Tuesday, July 21, at 1 Loehr Place in Yonkers.
The event will include Mitchell Del Gais, Senior Executive of Titan Real Estate Development LLC, Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano, and City, County and State officials.
Park Square Yonkers is a $185 million, 500,000-square-foot mixed-use development that will include 340 residential units, with 10% designated as affordable housing, as well as 20,000 square feet of prime street-level retail space.
Planned improvements include upgrades to drainage and culverts, stabilization of slopes and retaining walls, shoreline rehabilitation and flood protection measures for tracks where feasible.
The approximately $24.9 million project calls for construction of a six-story residential building featuring 10 studios, 15 one-bedroom apartments and 25 two-bedroom apartments, along with parking.

According to the Village of Pleasantville, The Goddard School would occupy approximately half of the ground level of the former supermarket at 35 Pleasantville Road.
