Joining major real estate developer and management firm, Robert Martin Company, in 2019 as a strategic communications and economic development leader with over 30 years of C-suite experience, Laurence Gottlieb’s current role has grown exponentially along with the firm’s business interests spanning from Westchester County, New York to Florida’s famed Treasure Coast.
Before joining the firm, Gottlieb served as Chief Strategy Officer/Senior Vice President for Nicholas & Lence Communications, a boutique NYC-based public relations/government affairs agency. Prior leadership roles include: President and CEO, Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation; Director of Economic Development, County of Westchester; NY Market Leader and Managing Director, Burson-Marsteller; Communications Director, Entergy Nuclear; U.S. Director of Marketing, National Multiple Sclerosis Society; Director of Marketing, Castle Oil; and U.S. and International Marketing Director, MicroVideo.
He is a Pace University cum laude graduate with executive education certifications from Harvard Business School and Yale School of Management, as well as received numerous awards for his professional and volunteer work, including Pace University’s Westchester Changemakers 2025, City & State New York’s Responsible 100 and SUNY New Paltz School of Business Hall of Fame inductee. He recently led The Business Council of Westchester’s talent attraction/retention initiative and remains an Executive Committee board member of the Westchester-Putnam Workforce Development Board, a strategic advisor to the Mario J. Gabelli Business Education Institute and a founding member of the Westchester County Bioscience Task Force.
Laurence lives in Mount Pleasant, NY with his wife, Joan, and is the proud father of two exceptional daughters and one (somewhat) exceptional papillon, Celine Diog.
