Description: This program provides Real Estate Professionals, appraisers and assessors with a foundation in how to read and understand the latest Energy Efficiency Building Assessment Reports. Topics covered include energy modeling, audit reports, work scope generation common pitfalls, terms and definitions and current policy. After taking this class, you will be able to read, understand and explain the basics of an Energy Assessment Report.
- How to read and interpret an energy assessment report
- Terms and definitions unique to energy assessments and auditing
- How to identify energy assessment sections dealing with energy efficient appliances, HVAC systems, insulation and other energy efficient related improvements
- Learn what diagnostic tests are performed and where to locate them in reports
