Navigating Fair Housing/Fair Lending in Real Estate Valuations - Real Estate CE (ZOOM)

This course covers the Fair Housing Requirements needed for Appraisers and Real Estate licensees:

• 7.0 hrs. for NYS appraisers to meet the required fair housing/fair lending requirement.
• 7.0 hrs. for NYS real estate agent fair housing requirement

This course takes the learners back in history through the policy changes of fair housing and lending, up to the present day with the Uniform Standards of Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and how applies to real estate valuations for appraisers and real estate agents Article 12 to be competent when performing broker price opinions and other valuation services. Interactive class: Town hall-style discussions about conscious and unconscious bias in the development and reporting in the appraisal process.
