New York State Licensing Classes
Obtaining a New York State Real Estate License is the first step to becoming a Realtor. HGAR offers in-person classes in each of its 3 locations. Online classes are also offered. Check out our license education offerings, and get started today.
All HGAR Members are required to attend a New Member Orientation offered in three convenient locations: White Plains, Goshen and West Nyack within 30 days of joining our association.

We provide low-cost arbitration and mediation services to resolve business disputes between Realtors® using The Realtor® Code of Ethics, first established in 1913. You and your clients may file ethics complaints, mediation and/or arbitration requests without having to go to court and pay high court costs and attorney fees.

NYSAR’s Legal Hotline
NYSAR’s Legal Hotline provides free legal and regulatory information Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at (518) 43NYSAR or 436-9727.
HGAR, NYSAR and NAR provide conferences and trade shows throughout the year for education, business and governance. They also often collaborate with private organizations such as Inman and RISMedia to offer discounted reservations to those organizations’ events.
